Here
is the original photograph. Simply a stack of encyclopedias fronted
by a magazine and an open book with a neutral background. Note the variety
of lighting conditions on the books and the lackluster table that the book
and magazine sit upon. |

The
same photograph after retouching. All the names on the books have
been changed to match workshops in the Expo. Lighting and the gold
foil look has been maintained. The background has been changed
to a rich texture to help highlight the masthead
and
article
title. Also note that the table the magazines sit on now has a
wood texture. Entirely created in the computer. |
